Mixologist Wendy Verdel –Hodges has been behind “the stick” for 19 years. Her focus for the last 6 years has been on hand crafted cocktails. The technical term used today for what she does is Mixologist, but she likes to call herself a “throw back” bartender.
“Like the bartenders from back in the day, I use all fresh ingredients in my cocktails. I specialize in creating cocktails specifically for my guests’ tastes as well as staying true to classic cocktails and the art behind them.”
“My specialty drinks changes according to the guest I am serving. My two favorite cocktails to make are the original 1944 Trader Vic Mai Tai and The Spirit in Amber which is my twist on the classic Peruvian Pisco Sour. The Spirit in Amber won me a trip to Lima Peru to compete for the national Pisco Sour Champion title. “
