Photo Maison Ferrand

Inspired by a French garden cultivated by Debbie Gabriel, wife of Citadelle Owner and Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel, Jardin d’été is made with 22 botanicals, 19 of which are used to make Citadelle Original, plus the addition of melon flesh, whole lemon, yuzu zest and more orange peel.

The pioneer of French gin, Citadelle is a château-to-bottle gin and has been crafting authentic gin de terroir in the southwest of France for more than 25 years at the Château de Bonbonnet.

Citadelle production is significant in two interesting aspects: juniper berries are cultivated at the Château and the botanicals are infused individually by a progressive infusion method that has the only patent ever given for the production of gin (Patent No. 17 58092).
