The World’s Best Wines Come To New York March 2-4th For The 5Th Annual New York Wine Expo

YOUR PASSPORT TO A GLOBAL WINE ADVENTURE IS HERE !

Renowned Industry Experts Lead Multi-Level Seminar Series

It is no secret that for decades New York is one of the world’s greatest cities. On March 2-4th 2012 the world’s best wines come to New York and you are invited. The centerpiece of the event is the Grand tasting which offers attendees a chance to sample wines from nearly 175 wineries from around the globe. This is not the only event that takes place in the city. There are many tours such as the Hudson Valley winery tour where you could taste wine while driving in your own car.

The Expo is also a wonderful opportunity to talk directly with wine makers and pick up tips on serving, pricing, and selecting the right vintage, as well as being an opportunity for a tasting session where you can discover some new names. If you’re somewhat of a connoisseur yourself, you might have a few favorites already, in which case you can simply look out for a trade show banner that you recognize and get to know the people behind them.

This world class showcase of wine will be held Jacob Javits Convention Center. In addition to great wines guests can enjoy the latest in wine accessories and speciality foods as well. If you won’t be able to attend this event though, then you can easily check out these International Wine Accessories so you aren’t missing out.

“The New York Wine Expo features wines from the greatest wine-producing regions of the world,” said Ed Hurley, New York Wine Expo Show Director. “But the Expo also includes the biggest trends of the year ahead from smaller local wineries, to organic wines to offbeat varietals that you’ll want to pour time and again.”

Education is always important in the world of wine. The expo also features seminars that will take place throughout the weekend led by industry experts. While more are sure to be added, those currently on the calendar include:
