Fattoria La Traiana is a wine-producing farm, which has preserved the procedures, practices and workmanship handed down over time and now renewed by the Gigante family, owner of the Fattoria since the early 1960s. The Fattoria Traiana has been following organic farming methods for over 10 years, and is certified in accordance with the EEC Regulation no. 2092/91. There are vineyard that are about 40 years old, comprising the classic grape variety of Tuscan tradition, such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo Colorino del Valdarno, Mammolo, Ciliegiolo, Trebbiamo Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti. The more recent plantation is also particularly extensive and comprises the best clonal selections of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sirah, Carmenere, Petit Verdot, Fer Servadou, Tannat, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Montemaggiore

Montemaggiore is both a wine producer and a country house. It is located in the heart of Tuscany, on the hills halfway between Siena and Arezzo. But, they also produce extraordinary tasting red wines, such as Colle Carpito and Boschia Salviati, a deep red wine with ripe berry fruits intermingled along with vanilla and toasted French barrique.
