As an integral part of the golf community and luxury tourism in Los Cabos, Solmar Golf Links celebrates its fourth anniversary: an oasis that has redefined the golf experience in this iconic tourist destination. Since its opening in 2020, this golf course has captivated players from around the world with its spectacular design, panoramic views of vast dunes shaped by the wind, a dense environment of cacti surrounded by streams that culminate on the beach, with the last five holes achieving a dreamlike closure and strategic challenges.

 This anniversary marks four years of continuous success and highlights the fundamental role that Solmar Hotels & Resorts has played in positioning Los Cabos as a world-class golf destination. According to data from the Hotel Association, in 2023, 3,850,000 domestic and international tourists arrived, closing the year with a 70 percent hotel occupancy. 

For Golfers, 2023 was an impressive year for Solmar Golf Links, as during this period, the course solidified itself as one of the destination’s favorites. Golfers continue to visit and discover the proposal that has been gaining preference with athletes since 2020. This year  coincides with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Solmar Hotels & Resorts, a pioneer in hospitality in Baja California Sur since 1974, and the group to which the golf course belongs. With a unique synergy, they offer visitors a comprehensive experience that combines luxury, exceptional hospitality, and entertainment within Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes, which also features an original spa with wellness treatments, exquisite restaurants, pools, and a seawater lagoon with activities and slides.

 Join us this year commemorate this special occasion, a series of events are planned throughout the year at the course, including exclusive tournaments, golf clinics with distinguished professionals from the Professional Golf Tour of Mexico directed by Alejandro Quiroz, and top-notch culinary experiences in their restaurants.

With its 18 holes, par 72 with 7,240 yards, it meets and exceeds the expectations of passionate players. Additionally, one of the attractions of the course is the 17th hole, a green design on an island in the middle of a lagoon that offers spectacular views and golfing. As if that weren’t enough, players can challenge their game with an imposing elevation of 90 meters. The course has five holes on the beach, especially the 3rd hole, a par 3 of 259 yards that runs parallel to the sea and offers players magnificent ocean views.

 Solmar Golf Links is the only club in Los Cabos certified by Audubon International. It has been ranked 18th on the list of best golf courses in Mexico and the Caribbean by Golfweek and the cover of Golf LINKS magazine. In 2023, it was named one of the top three Golf Resorts in Mexico and Central America, according to Golf Digest magazine, so it’s time to celebrate and go for a hole-in-one on one of the best golf courses in Los Cabos.
