“Mundo- A striking space – mixing old-world Mexico and Vegas glam – sets the scene at this “upscale” Downtowner in the Las Vegas Design Center, which melds “traditional flavors” with “top-of-the-line ingredients” for a “different take on south-of-the border cuisine”; moderate prices, “knowledgeable” service and “wowing” cocktails fit the bill too, plus it has an “awesome” location near the Smith Center.”

A creative, collaborative effort between restauranteurs George Harris, Mingo Collaso and Executive Chef Robert Solano. George Harris stated  “We are proud to be again named one of America’s Top Restaurants by Zagat, all the credit goes to my staff and partners, we strive everyday to provide the highest level of service and quality food.  “

He added “Again, we are honored by Zagat! We are looking forward to the opening of our newest venture also located in Downtown Las Vegas. Mingo Kitchen & Lounge, if you like Mundo you’re going to Love Mingo! Chef Robert Solano has created a menu of “American comfort food” that will change the way cuisine is viewed “ .  Mingo Collaso does it again with eclectic style and decor.  Mingo is slated to open in late fall in Art Square in Downtown Las Vegas.

We have visited Mundo many times and look forward to their newest venue in the exciting , vibrant  downtown Las Vegas .
